This was a freebie on Amazon a while ago, and as it was extremely short and dealt with shifters, I picked it up, even though I knew there would be some sex in it (which is really not my style). I was hoping for something along the lines of True Blood—I love that show, and I love the Sookie Stackhouse books (they actually aren’t smut, in my opinion, which surprised me), but “Fury” is a far cry from either of those. In fact, the “story” within “Fury” is just a screen; it’s really just a porno. Honestly, there was a lot more explicit sex than there was any story, which was crushing, but since it’s such a short read (less than 30 minutes), I stuck it out and finished it.
Do I recommend it? Well, if you’re looking for a written porno, then yeah, this is your story. But if you want substance, to learn about shifters, their world, their system, then… no. One star.

I read this one last year and didn’t like it either. I don’t mind the sex, but the story was bad. I also seemed to have a whole chapter missing or something. Did you have that problem, too? A scene ended in the middle and picked up some place totally random near the end?
I didn’t notice a chapter missing, but I agree it wasn’t my favorite read ever. :/
