Star Ratings System

This is my system for rating each book I read.  Star ratings will show up at the end of each review, and this is what they look like:

I hated it!  I would have put it aside too, except I’m OCD about finishing every book I start.

 I really didn’t care for this novel.  It was very difficult for me to read, and not my style.

 It was okay.  The premise was good, but it’s just not for me.  

I liked it.  I may have struggled with some aspects of the novel, but on the whole it was interesting.

I really liked the novel!  I’ll probably read it again at some point in the distant future. 

It was amazing!  I plan to read this book multiple times!  I loved, loved, loved it, and I can’t get enough–I hope it’s made into a movie SOON so I can faun over it!

 

On occasion, star ratings will show up that also have “half” stars.  When that happens, it means I just couldn’t decide on a solid rating and have decided to ride the fence.
